BMW 3 Series - Mild hybrid with station wagon character

With the latest model in the BMW 3 Series, the German manufacturer is launching a new midsize segment. Now in its 7th generation, the BMW 3 Series is available as a sedan and station wagon. With its engine options, it gains a decent edge over previous models. With the strongest engine variant, a M3 Comeption xDrive, the BMW 3 series comes thereby to legendary 510 HP with 650 Nm with an acceleration of 3,5Sekunden of 0 - 100 km/h. But even already in its M340i xDrive variant, it puts an athletic 374 hp at 500 Nm on the road. The diesel engine BMW M340d xDrive also comes to 340 hp at 700 Nm. New in the 7th generation of the BMW 3 Series is the plug-in hybrid with 204 hp to 292 hp and a diesel station wagon as a mild hybrid with 190 hp. Here, an inline four-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor provides power and acceleration. From the outside, the BMW 3 Series features a dynamic design and size of 4.794 meters in length, 1.903 meters in width and a height of 1.445 meters. At the same time, the BMW 3 Series Mild Hybrid has a total weight of 1965 kg in the Touring and 1895 kg in the sedan variant. Untypical for a station wagon, the Touring is available with a boot volume of only 500 to 1510 liters. This is compensated for by practical station wagon details such as rubber strips that prevent cargo from sliding. This means that luggage and suitcases can be transported safely. The BMW 3 Series Touring is equipped with the latest BMW Live Cockpit Professional, which features voice control and various driving assistance systems that make long-distance journeys and trips more comfortable.
