Into the electric motor future with the BMW 4 Series

Since 2020, the BMW 4 Series has been available in saloon, coupé and convertible body versions. It is now available not only as a petrol and diesel model, but also for the first time as an electric vehicle. BMW is already covering its mid-range segment with the 3 Series in 2019. The most powerful performance level here is the M4 Competition xDrive with 510 hp at 650 Nm, all-wheel drive and an acceleration of 3.5 s from 0 - 100 km/h. Compared to the most powerful engine of the predecessor model, the latest variant of the 4-series models has just under 150 hp and 50 Nm more torque. With the first all-electric Gran Coupé version of the 4 Series - the BMW i4 - the carmaker takes a step towards future-oriented technology. Overall, the BMW 4 Series has a size of 4.7 metres in length, 1.8 metres in width and 1.3 metres in height with a weight of 1900 kg.
