The four-door Mercedes CLA Coupé has been available since 2013. Presented as the 117 series, the new 118 series has been available since the beginning of 2019. Due to its shape, the coupé is considered one of the most dynamic and streamlined models on the market. The CLA has a wide engine range and is available with petrol engines up to over 400 hp as well as diesel engines with common-rail direct injection. Performance design for the CLA coupé

The little brother of the CLS is based on the compact car platform that is already used in the A- and B-Class as well as in the GLA. The CLA offers a particularly high level of performance and endurance. Even the smallest engine in the CLA 118 series has a whopping 136 hp and 200 Nm. The most powerful racing sports car, however, is the Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 S 4Matic+ with an athletic 421 hp at 500 NM and a top speed of 270 km/h. The CLA also boasts excellent acceleration. The CLA 45 S is also impressive when it comes to acceleration: In just 4.0 seconds, the compact class shoots from 0 - 100 km/h. With its dimensions of 4.695 metres long, 1.857 metres wide and 1.442 metres high with a weight of 1.759 kg, it is larger and heavier than the predecessor 117 series. At the centre of this is the design of the CLA, which is characterised by a high-gloss appearance and state-of-the-art technology. The interior of the CLA Coupé is particularly impressive with its heated steering wheel, air-conditioned seats and fully digital instrument display, which combines the speedometer and rev counter, as well as the navigation system and driving assistance system, on a single display. On the outside, the Mercedes CLA boasts a design that shows off performance and power, thanks to dynamic powerdomes, frameless doors and a diamond grille.
