How to make your car faster?
By bridging the connection between gas pedal and control unit, the time delay can be removed. The device that can be interconnected is the throttle response controller - also known as e throttle controller, throttle response enhancer or commonly as PedalBox.
How does a throttle tuning work?
Due to a simple plug&play system, it is easily connected to the accelerator pedal electronic, and you will feel immediately more powerful while driving.
Isn't the PedalBox just as good as a driver's foot?
The issue is, as already described, not the engine power, but the time until the engine recognizes the power. Even if you would press down the accelerator pedal very fast till the max, the engine signal will still be the same and will still have a time delay. The engine can still not use its full potential because of the vehicle's standard signal. Furthermore, some vehicles suffer from disturbing “pedal lags” while overtaking, which is also caused by the vehicle's standard signal. The throttle response enhancer sends an improved signal, which lets the control unit pass the full power to the engine. This means there is no hesitation or annoying throttle delay!

The acceleration of electronic throttle control
Technology is a major thing in automobile industry. Every company, every car, every driver wants to be the fastest and most advanced. Therefore, automobile industry expands it broad technological spectrum further, making cars more and more innovative, responding and in the end: faster. One such advancement is the electronic throttle control. This is more commonly known as the drive-by-wire or e-gas. An electronic signal is always faster than a manual signal. However, modern cars still have a time delay in acceleration, since the full potential of the actual performance can usually not be used at the start.
Why is there a power delay?
The electronic gas pedal takes control of the electronic signal that needs to be given instructions. This is done by the identification of the depth of the accelerator pedal. It is also done by understanding the engine to provide a suitable power. However, during this process, there is a delay in the signal of the electronic throttle valve. This impedes the regular acceleration of the vehicles in certain circumstances. These circumstances include going uphill, going through a steep slope, etc.
How to improve the speed of the car?
By bridging the connection between gas pedal and control unit, the time delay can be removed. The device that can be interconnected is the throttle response controller - also known as e throttle controller, throttle response enhancer or commonly as PedalBox.
How does a throttle controller work?
The e-throttle controller PedalBox takes a mile-second to take the car to full speed. It improves acceleration for all vehicles with an electronical gas pedal. It catches the signal between accelerator pedal and control unit. Instead of the manufacturer's signal, the PedalBox sends a modified signal to the control unit, helping it to eliminate any lag or time delay when accelerating. Thus, the engine can respond faster while accelerating and the car will take off with full engine power from the start.
Due to a simple plug&play system, it is easily connected to the accelerator pedal electronic, and you will feel immediately more powerful while driving.
PedalBox vs driver’s foot?
What is the difference between a throttle response controller and pressing the accelerator pedal rapidly to the floor? Would it not be the same?
As already described: It’s not about engine power, but rather the time it takes for the engine to realize that power!
Does the PedalBox increase the engine power?
It must be noted, however, that the throttle tuning helps to improve the acceleration of the car and the output of the standard engine power. The PedalBox is therefore not a tuning box, increasing the performance (horsepower and torque). For an increased horsepower and torque, the tuning box PowerControl is used.
