Using the PowerControl app, you can set the PowerControl DX auxiliary control unit to suit your individual needs. This allows the module to be switched on individually when working in the field and switched off when driving on the road.
You can easily operate the DTE PowerControl DX performance enhancer from the cockpit. The following functions are included, among others:
- Switching on and off the modules via smartphone
- Switching between the programs Power, Dynamic, Efficiency
- Once set, the performance enhancement works even without an existing smartphone connection
By means of the remote service, the PowerControl DX always remains up to date, wherever you are. Updates and services can be controlled and viewed from the smartphone app. Specific adjustments can also be added via the app if desired. The remote service thus provides worldwide support and regular updates without the need for an on-site visit to DTE Systems or your specialist dealer.

More power, less consumptionSave fuel with a DTE performance upgrade
PowerControl enables a driving style with significantly lower revs, which considerably reduces consumption. Shift points can be set earlier and fuel is saved with every revolution of the crankshaft.
- Start off and shift immediately into 2nd gear
- Accelerate quickly and shift up again in good time
- Do not shift down as long as the engine is accelerating
Depending on the driving style, fuel savings of 15% are possible, so the tuning pays off quickly. The main savings potential lies in the increased torque. This is because the additional power is already available in the lower rev range and helps to adapt the driving style.

After installation of the box, the torque increase already in the lower speed range is appreciable. The fuel savings are in my case about 0.5l per 100km. All Features and Information
DTE have developed a multi-map tuning technology which can optimise up to five different channels, all in real time. Whether it be common rail pressure, boost pressure, turbo pressure, intake manifold pressure or air mass volume, DTE’s PowerControl is able to control them all. Even the latest generation and most technically demanding engines are effortlessly controlled, all within a multi-dimensional multi-map environment. The driver is able to select from 3 different programs: Sport, Dynamic and Efficiency.
The Adaptive Sensor System scrutinizes all the relevant engine data and after detecting its respective load state, will provide more power when necessary. Should the driver demand more power, for example, when overtaking, the system will automatically switch on. If the additional power is not used, the system will gradually reduce the power, all power changes are seamless and dynamic.
Not only are the best performance yields based on engine load state but also on road speeds, that’s what DTE’s adaptive tuning technology offers, more power with less fuel usage.
This innovation allows DTE’s tuning products to learn the unique characteristics of your vehicle. During a short ‘learning’ phase, the chips memory function records the engines injection cycle data and optimises the reloaded maps accordingly. Standard vehicle tolerances are taken into account and an optimal tune is achieved – all without any complicated driver input.
A whole new range of new safety standards are introduced with DTE’s new Engine Protect+ feature. This function has the important task of continually monitoring the ECU’s signals to the engine and safeguarding them against any overloads. The protective functions of the ECU as well as air fuel ratios remain intact and within specification, ensuring complete peace of mind.
The installation of an additional control unit represents a structural change that can result in the loss of warranty and/or loss of insurance cover without registering a parts approval certificate in the vehicle documents. The represented product has not yet been certified with a part approval. Warranty claims against the seller and any warranty claims against the manufacturer may be omitted through an increase in performance via chiptuning or an additional control unit. Before usage outside Germany please inform yourself about applicable national road traffic laws which might restrict the usage to private roads, race tracks or offroad. Our insurance at a glanceComprehensive protection for your machine
With helvetia's tractor insurance, you receive additional protection for the tuned engine and transmission of your agricultural machine. In the event of damage, the insurance covers possible repair costs of up to € 20,000 for a period of 24 months (for vehicles up to 2 years old) or 12 months (for vehicles up to 36 months old from the date of initial registration). Insurable are agricultural machines (without trailer) up to a total weight of 8 tons with a registration in the European Union or Switzerland. You can find detailed insurance conditions here.
