Racing compact SUV

Based on the MQB platform, the VW T-Roc is considered the sister model of the Audi Q2. A sturdy compact SUV, the T-Roc measures 4.268 m long, 1.819 m wide and 2.63 m high with a weight of 1.575 kg. The compact SUV is available in the equipment lines Basic, Style, Sport, R-Line and R. The Style and R-Line equipment lines are even available for the T-Roc Cabriolet. The T-Roc is available with an all-wheel-drive in almost all engine versions. Selectable engines range from 1.0 TSI to R-4Motion and 1.6 TDI to 2.0 TDI-4Motion. The fastest variant is the R-4Motion petrol engine with 300 hp and 400 Nm and an acceleration of 4.9 s from 0 to 100 km/h. The 2.0 TSI engine is available with a four-wheel drive. In comparison, the 2.0 TSI-Motion version has only 190 hp with 320 Nm and an acceleration of 7.2 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. The R-version is not only the most powerful and fastest model of the VW T-Roc but also the most massive and heaviest of the SUV series. In terms of exterior design, the compact SUV offers some special highlights in the various equipment lines, such as the two-tone paint finish in black and "Flash Red" or black and "Pure White", whereby the paint finish of the roof, exterior mirrors and A-pillar is changed. Colourful accents can also be set in the interior with which VW wants to give the T-Roc a younger look. In addition, the T-Roc offers a good feeling of SUV comfort thanks to its spacious feel and higher seating position. Volkswagen has also equipped the T-Roc with the latest connectivity and infotainment features such as a blind-spot warning system and parking assist. Together with the traffic jam and emergency assistant, the VW T-Roc offers solid equipment for long-distance drivers and families, but the sporty R-4Motion variant also offers plenty of racing fun.
